I went to Patrawee (owner Corner Salon) and I really liked her shop. The products they use are superbe (Joico, Sebastian a.o.). I highlighted my hair (half long, all my hair, 2 colours) and I paid 2000 with various treatments (hairmask etc). In the end they styled it with the blow dryer for ages, and I looked great. My hair never felt so soft and healthy.
Highly recommanded this place (also for other westerners or farangs as they like to say - lol

I've been having my hair cut at the Corner for years now, I always go for Nang as my prefered Hair stylist as she really knows how to cut a western Chaps hair.
Before i found The Corner near Silom i had tried many Bangkok Salons and Barbers, everytime this resulted in my hair looking very old fashioned and almost Thai mullet style. Thank goodness i found Nangs Salon. Now i avoid getting my hair cut in New York because quite frankly Nang cuts it a lot better and the prices are just fabulous.

I reallly love this place... i've just had Brazilian Keratin Treatment with paweerada at Corner Salon Bangkok for just 4000 baht!!! The exact same stuff back home would have cost me 16,000 plus... Paweeradas Corner is a great find!, and beats the pants of the swanky overpriced Mall salons with hair stylists that barely speak english... I have already booked my next appointment with paweerada... Everyone is already asking me where i got this amazing silky smooth hair from.. its no wonder she is so popular!

I have just returned from having Brazilian keratin Treatment at the Corner Salon - i'm really very very happy with the job - hope it looks like this after the first wash. To be honest i was not sure what to expect with mixed reviews here - But Brazilian keratin is 200 pounds back home, and i got it for 100 here and definitely a better service. so here is my take on the place and my experience. Prices are cheaper than the expensive malls, but thats probably because the place is not super modern and quite small. So don't expect that and you wont be disappointed. For me it was just fine and the products they used, i know for sure are genuine imports - so i'm happy with that and the service was fine. I understood when making my booking that Paweerada was not going to do my hair because i asked and she only does colouring and styling - i had no problems with that. The stylists who did me didn't speak too much, which i don't mind because i like to read or switch off anyway. - What i was most impressed with was that i didnt just have one stylist but 2 stylists perform my keratin treatment at the same time - i felt quite special. Back home that would not happen and i feel thats a far better service compared to what we get in the UK. As for the owner Paweerada, she arrived 1 hour before i was leaving. my first impression was 'attitude' but after i made the effort to talk with her - she was lovely. I'm glad i took a chance on the place, and since i had nothing but what i wanted and more. im giving it a 5 star

Just had QOD GOLD Brazilian Keratin Treatment at TheCorner and i look absolutely fabulous now... Its amazing stuff. So glad i found out about this place before going back home.Bangkok is Brill! The exact same Brand treatment would cost 450 bucks back home and i paid about 200 for it.. and even got the Gold AfterCare Set as-well. There was a lot of other clients making Keratin bookings when i was there too, so this is definitely the Best place for it. There was also some famous celebrity in her shop when i was arrived. I'm not sure who exactly but they were having the same treatment and said she is the best and always gets the best products. Paweerada too She can be a bit bossy but she is very busy and i can see shes damn good and very popular. She has stunning hair herself and is a walking example of an amazing hair stylist. As for the shop. Well i was expecting a big Glossy shop but its quite small and intimate and the hole in the wall type. I asked why it wast bigger and they said she does have a bigger salon but costs more. So im happy with the Corner. 10 out of 10 - the money i just saved will pay for a new Netbook at Pantip Awesome!!!

Always a Wonderful Experience At The Corner Hair Salon As a catwalk Model in Bangkok and Hongkong i have to endure a lot of chemicals and sprays on my hair everyday. Myself and a few other Models have been making advance Bookings with Paweerada (Nang) at the Corner Hair salon Bangkok. As the owner and a top notch hair stylist she is by far the best we have found in Thailand. And her products are always leading brand names imported and quite affordable. I cannot speak for the other hair stylists in her shop as i believe she also teaches. But if you want the best at no extra cost - i recommend you book Paweerada - she is now our personal hair repair expert in Bangkok

luv it there! Living in BKK now for more than 6 months and came here the first time when I needed a haircut. The place looks nice (was refurbished recently) and has its own style. The Owner (Nang) is a lovely person, speaks very good English and you can tell what you want to have cut and what not. + she's loving hairs and it's her greatest passion she said to cut hairs and design styles. Made once a bad experience at a hairdresser in Siam Discovery... So highly recommended! and the price is really good!

Great Salon and Paweerada Really Is Top Notch - she does have her own way about her. But When i first heard about paweerada it was from a friend who was already an addict to her styling and products, and told me i should stop going to Toni and guy and just use Paweerada. At first i thought the salon was cute but small - i wasnt sure i was in the right place.
Then i met Paweerada and knew for sure she knows her work. She is a little bit serious and has her own way about things - ie she can be bossy, But hey she gets to deal with some right idiots sometimes, i know cos i live here too.
With so many of us foreigners perhaps scared or untrusting after some bad hair do's. She is well aware of this and i have never seen anyone leave the place unhappy with her work. Best of all its really, cheap! I shouldnt say this because she should be charging way more for her products. Infact im not gonna say anymore, enough already!

Best Hair Salon in Bangkok in my opinion, well maybe not but the owner of this salon is the stunning Paweerada and i just met 2 TV celebs sit next to me and tell me about their lives, awesome!
One only has to look at Paweerada and her hair to know that she certainly is the hair master. Best of all its not pretenteous and affordable. The big salons cost a lot more and its a lot harder to get what you want, i will be making a booking for Paweerada's or Nangs salon - plus its a fun place to wonder about after.

5 stars for Paweerada Just had my hair cut again there for the 15th time with paweerada at theCorner! Unfortunately last time i had to get a cut from another salon, supposed to be a top stylist. They really made a mess of my hair and i am over the moon that i'm back in Bangkok and Paweerada could save me again. The salon is small but Paweerada is just damn good and one of the best you can find. Best of all it just cost me 150 baht! i would have paid 150 dollars for something this good in the states. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Been to The Corner Salon a few times - this time i took my Girlfriend for Brazilian keratin Treatment - She is well impressed with her hair - still playing with it now lol... As for me - I had my usual hair cut there with the Boss. But i already know Paweerada quite well, so i'm guessing i got into her client book just in time. - i thinks its harder to get her to do hair cuts now... i think she is running other business and salons too. I also know they got a lot of jealous salons trying to take it down a notch. There are 2 salons directly next door on either side of The Corner Salon. I think you would have to be hard as nails to run a business under these conditions - The Corner is still going after 20 years and so i respect that. Don't get me wrong its no Cheap n Charly China Salon, but ain't too expensive either - just a small friendlysalon with good products and the owner is well respected and speaks pretty good english. I don't need anything more than that really... Also the receptionist speaks perfect English too, but if you don't want to get Lost in translation trying to get a particular cut n style - just take some photos or magazines wiv ya. simple!
